Your wedding day should be a romantic experience, not tainted by a production team, or showcasing your love in any way except the way that feels authentic to you.

I show up to my couples biggest day with you in mind. I'm a storyteller, a journalist, and a friend every step of the way, from the day you decide on me, until the day you receive your images.
I believe in understanding my couples. With the knowledge that no two will be the same, I approach your story from your shoes. I look at the way you touch each other, the words you use to describe one another, the way you interact with the world around you. With that in mind, I create images that are personal, romantic, and always feel like you were right there all along.

you're here to share your story, I'm here to photograph the beautiful details.

Wedding days are fast paced. There are dozens of little storylines happening at any given moment, and so I focus on being uninvasive for the moments where my couples should be 100% present (like the ceremony, or the first time a parent sees their son or daughter all dressed up), and guiding you during the moments you need a little extra love to feel your best (such as portraits). My ultimate end goal is to create images for your collection that will embody who you are as a couple, who you are as individuals and what story unfolded on your wedding day, in truth.

My ultimate end goal is to create images for your collection that will embody who you are as a couple, who you are as individuals and what story unfolded on your wedding day, in truth.

what is your approach on a wedding day?

On a wedding day, there are moments that call upon both mediums for me to create a final gallery of stunning images for you that will become heirlooms. Having learned the in's and out's of photography initially in a dark room, film photography is a specialty of mine and an important part of capturing your moments. It renders skin tones and light in an entirely different manner to digital, and provides me with my signature dreamy and romantic aesthetic. Moving in to reception or indoor images, I will primarily shoot digital for speed and adaptability. Regardless of the medium chosen, the approach is always the same!

Do you shoot film or digital, and why?

Depending on the time of year, my average turn around time is 8-10 weeks for weddings, though I always aim for a speedier turnaround time. If your final delivery will be delayed due to volume and time of year, I always make sure to communicate this with my couples ahead of time. As far as the count of images included in final galleries, this varies greatly depending on the flow of the day. I believe in quality over quantity, and in providing you with the images that meet my quality standards. On average, I deliver between 50-70 images per hour.

For longer wedding days, I may include an assistant to assist me with timeline, logistics, gear, details and film throughout the day. My assistant will act as a digital shooter during the ceremony and reception to complete the storyline of the day, but will not separate from me or act as a second shooter. I often don't require a second photographer as I am entirely comfortable and well versed in working alone. However, certain timeline factors or high guest list counts may warrant the addition of a second shooter. If you're considering if this will be needed, don't hesitate to ask!

how many photos will I receive, and when?

do you include a second shooter?

I encourage my couples to send shotlists of family combinations for portraits, and suggest no more than 10 groupings for these images in order to keep the timeline on track post ceremony. I am happy to also receive suggestions ahead of time of your day on images you really love to get an understanding of what's important to you. However, I don't refer to lists throughout the day in order to stay fully present and capture your day for what is right in front of me. I will provide a questionnaire for you to fill out of moments that will be important to capture, and will work with you on timeline to make sure we don't miss a beat!

do you accept shot lists?

I believe in making your day look exactly as it was, with little manipulation. I do not believe in retouching images, tucking waistlines or heavy photoshop to make you look your best. If you have any insecurities that you would like me to be aware of for your big day, please don't hesitate to let me know! My editing style is minimal and natural, only editing light, contrast, color, and small blemish removals as I emulate film to keep my images looking timeless and away from current trends. If you have serious concerns or want images retouched, I am able to send out images for heavier editing for a per-image fee.

will you face-tune or manipulate images?

Depending on the details of your day, most weddings book up 6-18 months in advance. In order to ensure your date is secured, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit, and a signed contract with the remaining balance due 30 days before your wedding day. Please reach out as soon as you are interested to inquire about your date by going to my Contact page

how far in advance should we book, and how?

Yes! I absolutely love to travel for weddings and have shot in all kinds of locations, with all kinds of couples. Some of my favorite locations have been Spain, England, Moab, Santa Fe, New York City, and the Dominican Republic! My passport is current, and I have custom packages for destination or travel weddings, so please feel free to inquire!

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS, AND WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

Engagement photos are often taken about 4-8 months before your big day, and I include engagement sessions with most packages! I will send you a pinterest board of inspiration for your engagement photos outfits to help you feel your best and gain some inspiration. I suggest dressing up a bit to make the occasion feel special, and will be happy to help you choose a location that is beautiful!

when should we take engagement photos, and What should we wear?

No, the final product will always be a fully curated and edited gallery of images that I deem acceptable by my quality standards. I believe strongly that editing is half of the magic that you hire your photographer for, and without that, your images are only halfway there!

Do you give raw or unedited images?

First of all, Bree is a visionary with a creative acumen second to none. We live very far away and basically planned the whole thing via emails and phone calls, so her communication is certainly a strong suit! Her personality is so fun and warm, and she's genuinely interested in love stories and preserving their authenticity. The weather on the day of our elopement was not what we were hoping for at all, but Bree not only weathered through it (literally!!), she delivered stunning photos of my husband and me! I'll be honest, she made my dreams come true with the photos she took.

Sunny & grey

Bree is my favorite vendor from my wedding. From the beginning she was absolutely amazing and responsive. Willing to work with me on a package that fit our budget. Day of she was priceless! She was there with kind, calming words when I was stressed from the lateness of our rentals and the disaster that was our catering company. She took it upon herself to assist with the set up and put in so much effort to catch us back up on getting the photos we had missed because my bridal party had to assist with set up. I’m forever grateful for her and can’t wait to see the images.

Marissa & Simon

Bree was our wedding photographer, and she was wonderful to work with! She captured some of the sweetest candid moments, and also gave great direction for our posed photos. She delivered our finished album within a few weeks (I've been told that's unheard of for a wedding photographer), and I couldn't be happier with the result.

colette & sean

Bree is not only an incredible photographer, but she has a thirst for adventure! My husband and I decided to elope sort of last minute. I reached out to Bree asking if she could wake up in two days at 3:45am and come shoot our nuptials in the mountains at sunrise! She rose to the occasion and captured the moment we got to share with our dogs as our witness! We are eternally grateful that she took on our last minute adventure and captured our memories!
